The Laphroaig Triple Wood is a single malt from the founded in 1815 Laphroaig distillery, which is based on the south coast of belonging to Scotland Hebridean island of Islay. The Laphroaig Triple Wood is performing its ripening process in three different barrels. These include first former bourbon barrels followed by Quarter Casks. The final maturity takes place in oak barrels that were previously used in mainland Europe for the production of sherry. The end result is a balanced Islay Single Malt peaty with oak aroma and subtle sherry sweetness arises. Add a light fragrance comes to chamomile, apple, coconut and banana. On the tongue of Laphroaig Triple Wood develops a buttery flavor of toffee. The long finish is creamy sweet. Incidentally, the Laphroaig Triple Wood heard as Islay single malt whiskeys of the favorite of the British heir to the throne Prince Charles. This is not least due to the label stating that Laphroaig is one of the royal court, verified. Laphroaig Triple Wood is a single malt whisky from the Laphroaig whisky distillery (located in the Islay region). Rated an average of 4.1 out of 5 by 172 reviewers and available from Master of Malt for only £51.9, falling slightly short of liquid gold but this in a solid everyday single malt whisky.
