Questions

What is the cheapest Scapa whisky?
The cheapest Scapa whisky is Scapa Glansa (40% ABV, 70cl), at £45.90 from Master of Malt. That is £50.85 delivered to the UK mainland for one bottle. Next cheapest: Scapa 10 Year Old (£53.95) and Scapa 16 Year Old (£93.95).
How much does Scapa whisky cost?
Scapa whisky costs from £45.90 to £1,299.95, with a median of £249.95 for a full-size bottle. The dearest is Scapa Connoisseurs Choice Cask #310 1988 32 year old Whisky.
What is the oldest Scapa whisky you can buy?
Why isn't Scapa smoky when its water is peaty?
Because peaty water does not make whisky smoky. The smoke comes from burning peat to dry the malt, and Scapa, on Orkney, uses unpeated malt even though its Lingro Burn water runs through peat. Its one smoky release, Glansa, got its smoke from casks that had held peated whisky.
