The Aberlour Triple Cask is a single malt whiskey from Scotland no age given in terms of aging in the cask. Its name comes from the maturation of three different types of barrels. Of these two types of barrels of American white oak and a barrel type European oak, where previously stored sherry. After completion of the ripening period on the different types of barrels the master blender of Aberlour married three characterful whiskeys by his skills masterfully to the exquisite Aberlour Triple Cask whose fruity sweet flavors are a pure force. Since Aberlour omitted indication of age, it is likely that the individual distillates are not too old. For this, the Aberlour Triple Cask scores but with a pleasant aroma profile and is priced quite justified.
