James Buchanan – called the Whiskey Baron – the first time it distilled the late 19th century and made from then on his Blend whiskey to one of the most famous worldwide. It is characterized especially the bottle with its prominent black and white label, which also gave the whiskey its name. The Terrier pictured on the label made the whiskey very well known and are an example of the great marketing talent of James Buchanan. His sweet and malty and slightly smoky taste are defining characteristics for the Black & White Whiskey. The finish on the palate can be classified more as a soft, but also distinctive.
