The distillery was founded in the 19th century sells excellent whiskeys worldwide. Despite the long Reifund of whiskey of 18 years, this is not dark, but shimmers rather deep golden. In the nose of Glenmorangie notes of oak, vanilla and lots of walnut unfolded peppermint with a touch. On the palate it is completed in a harmonious taste of good wood extracts, Esther, herbs, honey and some peatiness. In addition, It has a malt with hints of chocolate and grass. In the finish It is average in length, firm, dry and nutty with a hint of peat. Beginners and connoisseurs appreciate the harmonious, spicy taste. Pure drinking it tastes sweet and wild, however, diluted with water rather creamy. Even for mixed drinks, the whiskey is excellent.
