The Tyrconnell Whiskey was originally produced by A. Watt, who named the whiskey after the name of his family’s racehorse. Producer was only the Abbey Street Distillery, later Iriscot, since 1970 the distillery Cooley. This single malt is distilled twice and aged around 15 years in selected oak barrels. Its aroma is complex. It gives off a scent of honey and oak, with flavors of citrus and has a slightly malty. Its taste is soft, round, it tastes of exotic fruit, acacia honey, candied nuts and slightly biscuits with vanilla cream filling. The finish is surprisingly spicy. Fresh and clear, with facets of caramel, it will remain long in the memory of the taste connoisseur. A total of more pleasant and balanced whiskey. You should drink pure, possibly with some ice him necessarily. Tyrconnell Irish Single Malt Whiskey is a single malt whisky. Rated an average of 3.8 out of 5 by 23 reviewers and available from Amazon for only £28.39, with reviews like that this is one single malt whisky you can’t afford to miss
